Marcus Pryor

Partner, probate and trust administration

Marcus guides executors and trustees through an estate, one phase and one flat fee at a time.

Marcus joined Eleanor in 2017 and runs the firm's probate and trust administration work. Most of his clients have never been an executor before, and many live hours from the estate they're handling; he meets them by video and goes to the clerk's office in person when it's needed.

He keeps a running list for every estate of what's done, what's next and what it costs.

Working with Marcus

Marcus started in a clerk's office's probate department before law school, which is where he learned how much of an estate is paperwork and waiting, and how much easier both are when someone explains them.

He coaches a youth rowing club on the James River on Saturday mornings.

The first call is free and doesn't make us your lawyers; an engagement letter does.
