Eleanor Carrington

Founding attorney

Eleanor founded the firm in 2015 to make estate planning a fixed price and a few video calls, not a series of office visits.

Eleanor drafts the firm's wills and trusts and leads most first calls. She spent her early career at a larger firm writing plans for families she rarely met, and started Carrington & Pryor to work the other way round: the same attorney from the first call to the signing, and a price agreed before the work starts.

She still reads every draft aloud before it goes to a client.

Working with Eleanor

Eleanor's clients are mostly couples in their fifties and sixties, and adult children starting a parent's plan. She likes a plan that fits on one page of summary, and a binder the family can find.

Outside the office she volunteers at free will-signing days for first responders and teaches a community class on powers of attorney.

Tell us what you have and who you want to look after. You'll leave the call with a written flat-fee quote, and no obligation to use it.

The first call is free and doesn't make us your lawyers; an engagement letter does.
